Budget is in USD. I used US materials prices because that is what I know.  Some of it is much cheaper in Mexico so the numbers are a little padded. Labor was quoted to me as being 300 pesos a day ($15 usd) per person. I bumped that to 500 pesos a day ($25 usd) because that seems very low to me. It still seems low to me but this is what I was quoted. The digger man with the tractor will work for a day rate of $500 usd. He said he will knock all the digging and leveling out in about 6 hours depending on the land. Village gossip is he is the best digger on the coast. I added a 20% contingency to the overall budget to cover things I have not prepared for...

The Land price is not included in this number. I'm budgeting around $10K-$15K for that. Trying to keep the all-in total budget around $50K Usd ( 1 million pesos).
